-, CASTROL ENGINE OIL, ENGINE OIL, HEAVY DUTY DIESEL WITH OEM RECOMMENDATIONCastrol Vecton 15W-40 CI-4
Castrol VECTON® 15W-40 CI-4/E7 is an advanced mineral heavy duty diesel engine oil that is specifically engineered to deliver longer useful oil life. It is suitable for use in high speed 4-stroke diesel engines that use a broad range of fuel qualities. It is also compatible with diesel engines fitted with exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system.
Advantages
Castrol VECTON® 15W-40 CI-4/E7 with System Pro Technology™ delivers up to 45% extra performance reserve* that fights oil breakdown and also adapts to higher temperatures for longer useful oil life, giving you confidence in your maximum drain interval. All Castrol VECTON products are certified CO2 neutral according to the internationally applicable PAS2060 standard. Modern trucks use new technologies to make as much as 30% higher torque, but that also brings higher engine temperatures and pressures. This punishes the oil, pushing it closer to breakdown, reducing its useful life. Castrol VECTON® 15W-40 CI-4/E7’s System Pro Technology™ formulated with extra performance reserve fights oil breakdown

-, INDUSTRIAL GEAR OIL
Castrol Alpha SP 320
The Castrol Alpha™ SP gear oil range of high quality lubricants are based upon highly refined mineral oil, enhanced with an extreme pressure additive technology providing good thermal stability and high load carrying capacity. The extreme pressure additive system not only provides high load carrying capacity, but was designed to provide microscopic wear protection. Microscopic wear protection, also known as micropitting protection, is critical in preventing destructive wear at the micro level therefore extending gear life and meeting the evolving demands of smaller and higher output gear boxes.
Application
The Alpha™ SP range is recommended for the lubrication of industrial gear boxes using forced circulation or splash and oil bath lubrication. They may be used for the lubrication of spur and helical gears and in some lightly loaded worm type gear applications. They have very good viscosity characteristics to ensure starting torques are not excessively high in cold operating conditions. The additives are compatible with the ferrous and non-ferrous metals used in industrial gear units. The Alpha™ SP range is compatible with the most common types of seal materials.
